Biography

Oscar Bronner was born on January 14, 1943 in Haifa, Palestine. He is a producer and writer, known for Slaughter Day (1972), Sleep (2018) and StandART (2020). He has been married to Andrea Bronner since 1988. They have three children.

Son of composer Gerhard Bronner, step-son of Bruni Löbel.

Founded and published the Austrian magazines "Trend" and "profil" in 1970.

After founding the daily Austrian newspaper "Der Standard" in 1988, he has been publisher and editor-in-chief to date.
