Rita Catunda is a Brazilian screenwriter and director. She has written over 150 scripts, for web, cinema and TV, including for the internationally acclaimed series Earth to Luna! and the animated feature My Grandfather Is a Nihonjin, which premiered at Annecy 2025 and won Best Screenplay at Cartoons on the Bay. Rita holds a Film degree from FAAP (São Paulo) and a Master’s degree from EHESS (Paris).
