Biography

Austin Greene is an American actor known for grounded, emotionally charged performances that blend subtle dramatic intensity with sharp comedic timing and physical agility. Based in the Mid-Atlantic, he has appeared in over 100 films, features, and commercials, becoming a familiar face in the region’s expanding film landscape.

Austin first gained widespread attention with Project Eerie, featured in The New York Times "Five Horror Movies to Stream Now" and highlighted on BloodyDisgusting during the 2023 GenreBlast Film Festival, where the film earned multiple awards.

In the horror world, Austin has built a reputation for expressive non-verbal acting, physical storytelling, and a grounded emotional realism that anchors supernatural stories. He has worked alongside genre icon Jim Krut (Dawn of the Dead) in the cult favorite The Slasher Nurse, and recently starred opposite Charlie Kraslavsky (Chris Redfield, Resident Evil 1996) in Whistle to the Maples, which won Best Feature at the Creature Feature Film Festival and continues to gain momentum across the cult-horror circuit. Outside the horror genre, Austin appears in Gettysburg 1863, sharing dialogue with Eric Nelsen (Emmy winner, 1883).

Austin’s commercial performances have reached millions, including campaigns for Weis Markets, Rite Aid, West Shore Home, F&M Trust, and the Pennsylvania Food Bank, as well as a viral Herr’s Chips spot featured before the Super Bowl and multiple online campaigns for Warp.

Austin began performing in 2014 as a singer-songwriter in his hometown of Gettysburg, PA. He later trained in improv at The Harrisburg Improv Theatre and Gettysburg Community Theatre, developing the spontaneity and presence that define his screen work today.

From 2018-2021, he contributed to 17 short films through the Vid-Jam (now Cinespark) 48-hour festival, gaining valuable filmmaking experience both behind and in front of the camera while building connections across Pennsylvania, Maryland, the DMV, and the Philadelphia film markets.
