Tariro Washe

Tariro Washe was born and raised in Zimbabwe, to the late Jayne Matarise and Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. Washe, was raised in Harare and later lived in Cape Town where she acquired a Diploma in Professional Photography at Cape Town's CityVarsity, after having graduating with an Honours in Sport Management at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Soon after returning to Zimbabwe, Washe was joint Akashinga, an all-female anti-poaching ranger unit. After which she was approached by Sydney Taivavashe to co-produce, "Gonarezhou The Movie". Having no previous experience Washe, debuted as both an actress and a producer in Gonarezhou The Movie.
