- No Insert Shots: As a strict stylistic rule while directing Obsession, he chose to eliminate insert cuts and traditional scene edits entirely. The camera only cuts if it is directly matching the exact line of sight of what a character is looking at.
- The $800 Sensation: His breakthrough found-footage horror hit, Milk & Serial (2024), was filmed entirely on weekends over a four-month period with an ultra-low budget of just $800. The money was spent strictly on purchasing a Sony camcorder and hiring a single professional actor.
- The Simpsons Inspiration: The conceptual spark for his major studio horror thriller, Obsession (2025), came to him while sitting on his couch watching the classic Treehouse of Horror II episode of The Simpsons, which featured a cursed monkey's paw granting twisted wishes.
- Film School Dropouts: He attended the New York Film Academy campus in Los Angeles to study acting. However, he dropped out alongside his creative partner Cooper Tomlinson during their very first week to focus entirely on making their own online projects.
- Multimillion-Dollar Bidding War: After the grassroots viral success of his free YouTube movie, his follow-up feature Obsession premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), sparking a massive Hollywood studio bidding war that eventually closed for an estimated $15 million.
