Shavo was born in Armenia in 1974. He has been in
System of a Down, since the early 90s.
He plays the bass. He made his film debut in
Zoolander (2001). He and
System of a Down have been touring on
Ozzfest more than twice and recorded hugely innovative and platinum
selling records "Toxicity" in 2001 and "Mezmerize" in 2005
