Biography

LaMonte McLemore was born on September 17, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He was an actor, known for Getting Over (1981), It Takes a Thief (1968) and Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon (2011). He was married to Mieko Tone and Lisa Harvey. He died on February 3, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Spent time in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system.

Has long been an accomplished fashion photographer. Has had many photographs published in Jet magazine's "Jet Beauty Of The Week" section.

Fifth Dimension was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Parents are: Herman McLemore, and June Shaver McLemore.

Survived by his wife, two children, Ciara, Darin, and one sister, Joan, and three grandchildren.
