Nessie Lane Atwood has over 10,000 followers on Instagram, and is known for making intricate visuals of the songs she plays in her radio show.

She was born in Northridge, LA and grew up in Morro Bay, California. She went to Morro Bay High School and graduated in the class of 2016.

Her inspirations include the Gorillaz, Audioslave and Cat Stevens.

Her mother is Arabic and Lebanese, and her father is of Greek and Norse decent.

She started her career as a radio host in 2017, that year also developed the undead, ghostly, sailor captain DJ persona that got shot in the head. The following year she added to her persona by making DJ Glitchnessie, a radio host that accidentally got trapped in a computer program. Mouse arrow cursors are seen flying around the official photos and videos, implying that she never made it out.

She is a certified recording artist and the founder of the record label Atwood Records, which started in 2024.

She is related to famous Hollywood detective Fred Otash, of whom lead the investigation of the late actress Marylin Monroe's death.
