Nessie Lane Atwood is an actress, radio host, writer and producer, known for the vapor-wave, airplane and pirate ship themed radio show Sailing the Soundwaves (2018), as well as the interview based radio talk show The Man Behind the Music (2024) under the name Captain Lokknessie. She wrote, produced and starred in the comedic short film Weeds (2018). She is also known for the spiritual mini-series Julie's Tapes (The Uncommon Mortal: Exodus Prequel) (2025), starring as Julie Diana, a telepathic prophet hiding in a bomb shelter from a corrupted angelic war strategist. She is the writer of the drama television series The Uncommon Mortal: Exodus. She is the daughter of actor Eric Sean Atwood.

Nessie Lane Atwood has over 10,000 followers on Instagram, and is known for making intricate visuals of the songs she plays in her radio show.
She was born in Northridge, LA and grew up in Morro Bay, California. She went to Morro Bay High School and graduated in the class of 2016.
Her inspirations include the Gorillaz, Audioslave and Cat Stevens.
Her mother is Arabic and Lebanese, and her father is of Greek and Norse decent.
She started her career as a radio host in 2017, that year also developed the undead, ghostly, sailor captain DJ persona that got shot in the head. The following year she added to her persona by making DJ Glitchnessie, a radio host that accidentally got trapped in a computer program. Mouse arrow cursors are seen flying around the official photos and videos, implying that she never made it out.
