Biography

M W Daniels is a writer, director and composer based in London. His film work covers Comedy drama, psychological drama, psychological horror and dark drama.

Starting his film work in 2011 he made is debut professional sound film "Being Without" in 2018 which was a finalist at the 2019 Gold Movie Awards and the films theme made the final of the 2019 "L.I.M.P.A. Film Festival". His other films include are "The Affliction Table", "Emily's Hands", "House of Lexi", "The Mind of Juliane", "Everyone Laugh at Leanne", "The Other Soul to Evie", "October Loner" and "Keeley" and "Lizziehead".

"Lizziehead" won the jury award at "The International film Awards LA", it then went on to win best comedy at "The Best International Film Festival" and it won best short film at " The European Arts Festival". The film also made the 2023 final of "The Cannes Monthly Competition".

His latest film "Beyond Mamushi" is a harrowing psychological supernatural horror film which came out in 2026. The film has so far won three awards with lead actress Corina Jayne winning best actress at "Vampires of New Jersey Horror Film Festival" . The film won best feature at both "New York Monthly Film Awards" and "The Dunwich Horror Festival" . The film premiered to a sell out crowd at The Lumiere Cinema in Romford in February 2026 and has received over 250 reviews in a space of four months.
