Steven Hermez

Steven Hermez started acting on stage from 2017 to 2018. He received a variety of roles that showcased his tremendous acting skills. One of the most notable roles was with Oil Lamp Theatre in the comedic production, The Odd Couple: Female Version. He played Jesus Costazuela, a Spaniard who came to America for some fun. After 2018, Steven Hermez felt he had enough experience to move to on-camera work. When 2019 arrived, it was the year of education. Steven took many on-camera classes to strengthen his acting skills and learn on-camera adequacy. Places like The Green Room, Acting Studio of Chicago, Blue Door Collective were perfect for him. He learned so much and met numerous fellow performers along the way. In 2020, Steven did not slow down. He was still acting on camera and continued to obtain experience from each project. The Hollywood Casting and Filming sent him an email asking permission to use one of his audition videos for new actors to see what they should do; he happily agreed. The following year is when his acting took him to new heights. He got the role of Tom in a short film called Finding Dawn, written and directed by Maurice Proffit. The film was critically acclaimed by many pundits and audiences alike. Lorraine was screened at many film festivals. In November 2021, he finally got the role on television as Roger Fischer in Chicago Fire. In 2022, Steven went back to where it all started, the stage. In the dramatic production Lorraine. He played the bigoted father, Walter Gordon. The play was written by Carlos J. Gomez and directed by Maurice Proffit.
