Noni Dounia

Noni Dounia is a Greek actress, television presenter, former model, and politician. She studied dance at the State School of Dance, fashion design at the Veloudakis School, and acting at the Iasmos Drama School under Vasilis Diamantopoulos. She began her career in modeling and television, gaining wider recognition after being crowned second Star Hellas in 1996 and later representing Greece at the Miss Europe pageant, where she placed fourth. She subsequently moved into acting, appearing in Greek television productions including Strivein dia tou arravonos (2000), Kokkinos kyklos (2000), and Kai oi pantremenoi ehoun psyhi (1997), while also working extensively as a television presenter. Among her presenting work was the program Mommy - To paidi mou ki ego (1994). In 2019, she entered politics and was elected to the Hellenic Parliament with New Democracy, representing Piraeus, after previously serving as a municipal councilor in the city. She remained a member of parliament until 2023 and later stood as a candidate in the 2024 European Parliament election.
