Biography

Laura Rene Marks-Trueman has been supplying props to the entertainment industry for more than 25 years. She has collaborated with numerous major studios like Paramount and Warner Bros. Additionally, she has contributed to several movie and TV projects including Mad Men, The Alienist, Public Enemies, Men in Black Series (1 through 3), Shutter Island, among others. Laura manages her daughter Lillee Jean, who is an actress and filmmaker.

Laur Trueman is the manager for Lillee Jean Trueman.

Her original company was formed in 1999, and closed in 2020. She was one of the few women to pioneer the industry that was spearheaded mostly by a male-dominated workforce when it came to prop work.
