  • Emmy nominated Christian Vincent is multi-faceted artist whose talents as an actor dancer, choreographer, dance coach, and educator have garnered distinction in every area of the dance and entertainment industry.

    Christian's Emmy nomination for outstanding choreography for scripted programming ( The Porter series), was a first for BET in the scripted category . Christian's choreographic expertise can also be seen in Netflix's series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C. J. Walker, starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, the Lifetime biopic about rap super group Salt-N-Pepa, and Lifetime film, The Christmas Dance Reunion. Christian's other choreographic works include Noah's Arc: Jumping The Broom, 500 Days of Summer (assistant choreographer) and the Global television series Canada Sings. He has worked with directors David Fincher and Marc Webb and coached actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer), Jonah Ray (Hidden America), and Golden Globe-winning actress Sally Hawkins for Guillermo del Toro's Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water.

    As an actor, Christian is best known as Ricky Davis from the groundbreaking series Noah's Arc, the follow-up film Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom,Noah's Arc: The Rona Chronicles and soon to be released Noah's Arc reboot. Christian starred in the Hallmark Christmas film A Majestic Christmas, and also appearing in Lifetime's film The Christmas Dance Reunion. Christian appeared in the off-Broadway production of Radiant Baby, directed by George C. Wolfe. He has made appearances on Smallville, The Wedding Planners, Center Stage 2, Fringe, Fallen, Sins of the Mother, Continuum, Hidden America with Jonah Ray and most recently as Caleb Ezra on the Amazon Prime series The Power.

    As a dancer, Christian danced and/or toured with artists such as Madonna (dance captain, Drowned World tour), Prince, Britney Spears, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Stevie Wonder, Chayanne, Mandy Moore, Geri Halliwell, Macy Gray, Brian Setzer Orchestra, and Ashanti. He was also featured in various film projects such as She's All That, Starsky and Hutch, Rent, The Wedding Planner, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas, Ms. Congeniality 2 and GI Joe 2: Retaliation. In addition, his extensive television appearances include Buffy, Disney's Annie, Arrested Development, Baywatch, Mad TV, The George Lopez show, Cold Case and Dancing with the Stars. He also appeared in multiple commercials and print ads for Chevrolet, Muscle and Fitness "Hers" and Verizon.

    Christian is a master educator who enjoys sharing and inspiring the next generation of performers . He was a professor at the highly esteemed USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and the creator of their Commercial Dance course.

    Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Christian holds a B.F.A from Butler University, from which he graduated cum laude. In 2015 Christian graduated with an MFA in dance from the University of California, Irvine.

    Christian is also a newly elected Television Academy Governor for the Choreographer's Branch of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
