- Cedwan Hooks is an Emmy nominated puppeteer, voice actor, designer, and writer.
Originally from Kansas City, KS, Cedwan trained as a puppeteer with The Jim Henson Company and the Center for Puppetry Arts. His credits as a puppeteer include Buddy (2026), Donkey Hodie (PBS Kids), The Curse of Bridge Hollow (Netflix), Helpsters (Apple TV+/Sesame Workshop), Moon and Me (BBC), Albie’s Elevator (PBS Kids), and Doom Patrol (DC Universe). He has also performed in commercials for Toyota and Aflac, voices "Little Grunt" for Elf on the Shelf, and plays "Percy the Rooster" and "Og the Bookworm" of The Primrose Friends.
As a designer and fabricator, Cedwan has managed projects both domestically and abroad for DreamWorks, Shardan Inc., Resorts World Genting, and Alliance Theater. Recently, he co-created a new preschool series "JiJi and Jax" with Jimmica Collins.
