Aritra Sengupta(I)

Aritra is a 27-year-old Indian screenwriter, creative producer, theatre director and playwright based in Kolkata who has had an extremely successful and diverse writing career that spans mediums such as cinema, radio, television and theatre. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogues and been a creative producer for several Bengali feature films and web shows. He has also written and directed several critically acclaimed theatre productions that has been performed in more than twelve cities across India and has won numerous awards and accolades for the same. He has written and directed more than 50 original plays for radio and has enjoyed short but successful stints in television and advertising. Aritra has completed his post-graduation in English Literature from Jadavpur University and he has used his sustained interest in Bengali and Indian literature to curate and adapt novels and literary works for the screen. He is working as a screenwriter and content researcher/curator for several web series and feature film projects which are in the pipeline.
