Vlash Droboniku was born on February 5, 1945 in Berat, Albania.He
completed high school at Liceu Artistik Jordan Misja in Tirana, Albania
in 1964. After this, he worked as a drawing teacher at his old middle
school in the city of Berat through the years of 1964-1968. During
1968-1973 he graduated in graphic illustration from the Art Academy in
Tirana. In 1973-1974 he studied at Animafilm in Bukurest, Romania. He
worked in the Film Studio "Shqiperia e Re" in 1974-1991. In 1991-1996
he worked in the city of Janinna, Greece, and in 1996-present he lives
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Vlash Droboniku was the first to make a
cartoon animation in Albania in 1975.
