Shyam Balsé

Shyam Balsé is a veteran television producer, writer, director, and show-runner with a diverse portfolio encompassing hundreds of hours film and television, known for creating big format unscripted shows for global audiences. Over his prolific career, he has partnered with top networks, studios, and streamers, and his projects have featured Hollywood's leading celebrities, including Dwayne Johnson, Will Arnett, Gordon Ramsay, Nicole Byer, and John Cena. His extensive credits include serving as Executive Producer and Showrunner on ABC's 2025 revival of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, as well as executive producing series such as Wipeout, MasterChef USA, MasterChef Junior, Lego Masters, and The Titan Games. Beyond unscripted television, he has worked on major films like Robert Zemeckis' A Christmas Carol and has produced and written several award-winning independent films. Balsé holds an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts - Film and Television Production program.
