Dennis Ricks

Russian screenwriter, director and quite famous stand-up comedian in the past in Russia. He is also famous for creating the Russian Comedy Show, in Orange County - OComedy. Denis started out as a KVN comedian in his country and performed on stage with his sketches and stand-ups. After moving to America, he started as a novelist, participated in the Russian-American Comedy Club and is known as the creator of the Comedy Show project, which gave several performances in American theaters before he decided to take up Screenwriting and Directing, his real passion. His script for the sitcom "Beautiful Power" won several winning awards on various film festivals, same as his feature screenplay "Bride from Heaven". His latest project "Meet the girl", is a short interpretation of the initial part of that feature film.
