Biography

Travis Land is an actor, writer, director and editor, with work streaming on Amazon and Tubi.

As an actor, he's played roles as diverse as a US Marine, a hit man, a neurotic gay doctor and a hot-headed CEO, on both film and stage, with a highlight being "The Dad" in a nationwide Progressive Insurance Commercial.

As an editor, he's worked on films in the comedy, drama and horror genres. The romantic comedy, "You Me and Christmas Makes Three," which he also wrote and directed was picked up by Prime upon its release, and he's recently finished editing the comedy pilot "Zaddy" (that he also starred in), which was based on the stage production "Walter and His Loverboys," which he also played the lead.

As a writer, he describes his style as a mix of Tarantino and Shyamalan, with a bit of Stephen King thrown in.

Two new films, LGBTQ+ thriller "Plastic City" and the mind bender "Gower Ink," have been written, and it's hoped they will be in production soon.

Beyond film, Travis is a novelist. His novella "Screens" is available on Amazon Kindle, and he's working on his second book "Spools of Magnets." He is also a heavy metal guitarist and reptile enthusiast.
