He is an actor and composer, known for Dennis van Rita (2006), Binnen zonder bellen (1996) and Cliff Richard & Helmut Lotti: Danny Boy (2006). He has been married to Jelle Van Riet since 9 May 2009. He was previously married to Kimberly Grosemans and Carol Jane Poe.

His second wife, Carol Jane Poe, is a distant relative of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0000590/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Edgar Allan Poe</a>.
