Biography

Alfred Lewis is a dynamic and charismatic young talent with a passion for performing and storytelling. From a young age, he has embraced the spotlight, effortlessly connecting with audiences and breathing life into every character he portrays. Alfred understands the power of giving a voice to the voiceless and consistently leaves a lasting impact on those around him. His work ethic, often compared to that of seasoned professionals, has earned him recognition from directors in film, voiceover, and theater.

Alfred's career highlights include his role as Bill on the long-running Disney Channel series Bunk'd: Learning the Ropes, where he was a series regular. He has also guest-starred on hit shows like The Equalizer (CBS) and Law and Order: SVU (NBC), delivering memorable performances in both.

In the world of animation, Alfred lent his voice to the PBS series DIY Science Time, produced by Alabama Public Television and Kevin Cornell, contributing to the show's success, including its 2023 Regional Emmy Award win. He also took on a leading role in the short film Glitter Ain't Gold, directed by Christian Nolan Jones, executive produced by rapper Common, and co-starring Priah Ferguson (Stranger Things). The film was celebrated at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival. Alfred further showcased his talents in a national Mercedes Benz commercial, a major career milestone.

Alfred starred as Kendall Ellis in Mr. and Mrs. Ellis, a short film directed by Alan Brooks, which garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards, including an NAACP Image Awards Nomination, Audience Choice at the Capitol City Black Film Festival and Best Independent Short at the Imagine Rain Festival. He also played Jessie Calhoun in the short film Hands Up, directed by Angela White, which won numerous awards, including Best Drama Short at the Los Angeles Film Awards.

On stage, Alfred received praise for his portrayal of young "Rabbit" in the dramatic theater production The Re-Rooting, written by Betty Norwood Chaney and directed by Brenda Porter. His on-screen performances also included a standout role in The Urbans, where he went head-to-head with comedian Rodney Perry.

In addition to his acting, Alfred completed the voiceover narration for the audiobook I Can't Quit by professional basketball player Kendall Gray.

A dedicated student, Alfred excels in Honors and AP courses. He is also an avid sports enthusiast with a passion for the LA Lakers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Outside of acting, Alfred enjoys community service, writing short stories and songs, running track, playing basketball, football, swimming, boxing, chess, video games, and spending time with friends and family.
