Biography

Leaving a career as a lawyer in Brazil behind, Isabela immigrated to Canada to pursue her life-long passion for filmmaking in 2018. She has experience in both sound and video editing, driven by her passion for the psychological effects of audio & visual storytelling, which she tries to instill in her students at Toronto Film School.

Growing up, she frequently had to move to different countries, gifting her with a deep appreciation for many cultures and languages and the ability to easily adapt to different environments, which has proven to be an asset in Toronto's incredibly diverse film industry.
