Navid Mostafaee is a humble comedic genius. He is an ACTRA performer, writer, and philanthropist. One of those titles is not true. Born in Iran and raised there until age 13, Navid moved to Canada in 2005 and has lived in the Greater Toronto Area ever since. After earning a Master’s degree in Biology, which he proudly never used, Navid realized that his one true calling was acting, a passion that started when he was a chubby little kid starring in and writing his own school plays. This dude loves acting. Since beginning his principal acting career in 2019, Navid has taken on a range of roles in English-language productions. In 2022, he began producing Farsi sketch comedy on social media, quickly building a loyal following and carving out his own distinct brand of humor. Navid’s experience in front of the camera proved him a capable actor, but nobody, not even Navid, could have guessed how great of a writer he would become. So basically he is also a pretty good writer. Oh wait he almost forgot, he is also a master improviser. Navid went on to become a successful actor, writer, and comedian, but never a philanthropist.
