Biography

Michael Genadry was born on March 20, 1978 in Poughkeepsie, New York, USA. He is an actor, known for Ed (2000), Admission (2013) and Being Flynn (2012). He has been married to Rachel Emmer since June 12, 2010. He was previously married to Jen Cleary.

Fall 2002 - Had gastric bypass surgery to shrink the size of his stomach. By December he had lost 70 pounds, which made him weigh under 400 pounds. His treatment was then directly used in the TV show "Ed" to explain his weight loss.

From as early as 1998 until Fall of 2000, worked on & off as a tape operator and master control operator (mostly the latter) at "Regional News Network" or "RNN", a TV news station in Kingston, New York.

Recently seen performing original stand-up material at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. He appears to be actively pursuing a career as a full-time comedian.
