  • Mexican actor Manolo Roqueni was born in Aguascalientes, México. His mother, Veronica Healy, is a Grief Recovery Method specialist. His father José Manuel Roqueñi, is a recognized educator. He is of Irish, Spanish, and German descent. Manolo grew up all around Mexico, he has lived in Aguascalientes (Mexico), Pamplona (Spain), Monterrey (Mexico), León (Mexico), Mexico City (Mexico), and Vancouver (Canada). He graduated High School at Colegio de Bachilleres.

    Manolo was longing to participate in the world of Mexican cinema, not knowing how to penetrate it, he went to University to study Architecture, where shortly after, he decided to leave the program and started an internship at Los Cabos International Film Festival, where he found out how the industry worked. He was then asked for a position at Trácala Estudio, where he worked as a Production Assistant in short films and Theatre. Shortly after, he was admitted to Vancouver Film School for the Acting for Film and Television program. Where he developed the skills every actor needs. He graduated from the program with honors and was the Valedictorian student. In his time in Canada, he participated in over 15 short films and some theatre. He was then cast as Hugo in the mini-series Arca. Where he didn't know the character description narrated physical traits: "Slender", He went into the audition and got the part. Later on, he found out that the character's physical traits didn't match with him. He believes it was because he is an "Offbeat" actor, as Michael Shurtleff describes in the introduction for the Bob Fosse's Audition book.

    He moved back to Mexico City, he started working at a Publicity Agency, doing all the publicity stunts for the top entertainment platform in the world.
