Derek Manansala was born in California and raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA. Derek is a producer and writer, known for Lola (2024) and Halcyon Days (2026). Derek studied improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade NY and holds an MFA in Film & TV Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, CA.
