- Massive Attack are an English electronic band formed in 1988 in Bristol, Since 2016, the band's current lineup as a trio, consists of Robert "3D" Del Naja, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall. The group started as a four piece band. Andrew Vowles was a founding member, next to Robert Del Naja, Adrian Thaws and Grant Marshall, but decided to leave in 1999 because of the differences of opinion. The group is recognised worldwide and has won numerous music awards throughout their career. In 2016 Tricky return to Massive Attack and their first release extended play as a trio, in 2020
