After having played several characters in short and medium-length films, Arthur Beaupère decided in 2018 to tell his own stories and move on to directing. Pure self-taught, he directed his first film Joseph, la Nuit in December 2018, in self-production. The film is selected at the Festival International de Valence, during which he meets Nathalie Dennes (The Living) who takes him under her wing and decides to accompany him on the production of June 21, sequel to the first short film.
