- Jack Delano was born on August 1, 1914 in Kyiv, Kyiv Governorate, Russian Empire [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. He was a director and cinematographer, known for Los peloteros (1951), Las manos del hombre (1952) and Pablo Casals en Puerto Rico (1956). He was married to Irene Delano. He died on August 12, 1997 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
