Twice nominated 'BBC North Playwright of the Year' for his work in TV drama and among many other things has written high rating episodes of BAFTA award winning BBC drama serial Casualty and ITV's The Bill. He script doctored the movie Tom & Thomas starring Sean Bean and a young Aaron Johnson. His original screenplay 'Looking For Emma' was developed by EON and Sony Columbia when he was one of a handful of writers selected for the EON Screen Writers program. His stage play 'Poppy Day' was performed to sell out audiences as part of Chipping Norton Theatre's youth development.
He has also worked with Hallmark writing on their TV series 'Hidden City' and had a long running development deal with DLT Entertainment makers of the team written comedy series 'My Family'. Jim has dabbled in stand-up, performing at Truck Music Fest, Wood Fest, The Big Pig and English Stand Up Poland.
Jim founded Bad Tattoo Ltd a creative development and production company in September 2022
