Erik He

I was born in Beijing and moved to Guangzhou, New Jersey, Montreal, Amsterdam, before settling in Dubai for 12 years. I then studied in Malmo and finally came to Los Angeles to pursue my passion in filmmaking. This cultural variance has not only formed the bedrock for my own artistic foundation but also cultivated my taste in international cinema. My first short film won the FLAK Polish Film Festival for best open short and carrying on the momentum, I did a documentary on Dubai which got me admitted to the University of Southern California's Film and Television Production Program. During my final year, I was chosen as one of the four writers and one of eight producers for their highly selective senior thesis project. Since then, I've worked on shorts and features with a variety of budgets.
