Ib Spang Olsen was born on 11 June 1921 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was a writer and actor, known for Det gamle gasværk (1971), Hvordan vi fik vores naboer (1993) and Mosekonen (2001). He was married to Nulle Øigaard. He died on 15 January 2012 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
