Biography

Michael was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and now splits his time between Toronto and Krakow, Poland. He has had an extensive career in the theatre, film and television, known for his roles in Lucky Number Slevin, Fever Pitch, Suits and the most recent Wojtek Smarzowski film, Wesele. He plays Roy Sanders on the popular Polish series, Na Wspólnej. Michael ran Toronto's SummerWorks Festival for eight year, and later founded CanadaHub at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He is a graduate of Montreal's National Theatre School of Canada.

I've wanted to be an actor since I was about sixteen. I'd always been drawn to acting, but didn't really understand how magical it was until I got to play a 45 year old abusive father in a high school drama festival. Someone came up to me and asked 'How did you do that?'... I couldn't respond ... it was incredible.
