Haydn Worley

Haydn Worley is a London-based screenwriter specialising in psychological thriller, horror and drama. He co-wrote 1 Star Review (2024), a multi-award-winning short horror-thriller selected for FrightFest London, the UK's foremost horror/thriller film festival, and numerous other UK and US festivals. 1 Star Review achieved commercial distribution (including Amazon Prime Video) by becoming part of the anthology feature Shattered (2025). Haydn co-wrote Chekhov's Bun (2026), an action short entering its festival run. He has more shorts in development/pre-production and he has crafted a number of feature spec scripts. Some of Haydn's skills include the ability to layer tension, a strong sense of story structure, compelling character arcs and emotive dialogue. All of Haydn's scripts contain meaning and heart, however light or dark the project.
