Nur Rubio Sherwell is a Mexican cinematographer and a graduate of Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City.
Her work spans both independent cinema and international streaming productions. She has collaborated with filmmakers including Michelle Garza Cervera (Huesera), Katina Medina Mora, Elisa Miller and Samuel Kishi, photographing feature films and series recognized for their strong visual identity.
Films photographed by Nur have premiered and screened at leading international festivals including Tribeca, Toronto, Rotterdam, Sitges, Fantastic Fest, Fantasia, Sarajevo, Chicago, Biarritz and Morelia, where they have received numerous awards and critical acclaim.
