Claudia Alves is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, and producer working across film, television, documentary, and branded storytelling.
Her work has received the Special Jury Prize at the Gramado Film Festival for Curly Hair and a Bronze Award at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards for The Future Is Female, a documentary series for which she was a researcher and screenwriter.
Her credits span fiction, documentary, and television, including the series Rainhas Além da Avenida (GNT), as well as creative and production work for Netflix, Meta, Globo, and independent productions in Brazil and internationally.
She is a co-founder of FLUXA Filmes, a women-led production company focused on diverse narratives and new creative voices.
Claudia holds a master's degree in Media, Development and Social Change from the University of Sussex in the UK and a postgraduate degree in Social Innovation Management from Amani Institute Kenya. Her work explores culture, identity, social change, and contemporary Brazil.
