- Kiriakos Sfetsas was born on September 29, 1945 in Amfilohia, Greece. He was a composer, known for Parangelia! (1980), U-Turn (1991) and A Time to Kill (1993). He died on April 20, 2026.
- From a very young age he lived and grew up in Lefkada where he first studied music at the Lefkada Philharmonic Society and at the city's National Conservatory.
- Continued his studies at the National Conservatory of Athens (1963-66).
- From 1999 until 2002, he was the artistic director of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Lefkada and the cultural institutions "Festivals of Language and Art", "International Percussion Festival" and "International Folklore Festival".
- Since 1999, he has been living and working permanently in Lefkada, the place where he lived since childhood and where he was first taught music.
