Francesca Gamba(II)

Francesca Gamba is an actress, director, writer, and the founder of Intenso Films. She graduated from LaGuardia Arts School in New York (The Fame School) for singing then earned her Bachelor's in Arts Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University, studying Film, Theatre, and Entrepreneurship with a focus on acting and directing for the screen. She is best known for her heavy supporting role in Midnight Momo and her directorial debut she wrote, directed, and starred in Manic Memoirs (Big Apple Film Festival, Best Actress and Best Film Awards). She also starred in her film Sisters (Crypticon) and wrote and directed Mi Hija, starring Gemmy Quelliz (Miss Universe Latina Finalist) and Kaliani Chanelle (LaGuardia Drama). Her theatre credits include starring alongside Mercedes Ruehl (Academy Award, Tony, and Golden Globe winner) in a reading of the new musical Uphill Walkers and performing in cabarets around NYC. She was also in Dance Nation as Connie, the only undergraduate chosen to perform alongside Northwestern's MFA Theatre actors, and in the Waa-Mu Show, a Northwestern tradition with alumni such as Brian d'Arcy James and Heather Headley.
