Chiqui Fernández was born on June 27, 1969 in Madrid, Madrid, Spain. She is an actress, known for Periodistas (1998), Mujeres (2006) and La maja de Goya: El Musical (1996).

Her first important role on TV was in Periodistas (1998) and then she became more famous due to her work in Un paso adelante (2002).

Gave birth to first child in 2005 and was pregnant while filming the last season of Un paso adelante (2002).

In 2005 filmed Mujeres (2006), her first lead role on tv. At the beginning the network decided not to air it, but it could be seen a year later with great success.
