  • Cinematographer and visual storyteller. Canon Maestro. SOC Associate. ASC Scholarship Mentee. Sukesh crafts authentic narratives through the lens, working across fiction, documentary, automotive, and branded films. His distinctive visual approach emerges from a life lived beyond traditional film sets, journeying across continents on motorcycles, guiding as a PADI instructor with over 3,500 dives, and finding stories in the quiet spaces between cultures. This diverse background (first aid instructor, rescue diver, wildlife rescuer, naturalist, seafarer, cricketer, firefighting trained, powerboat operator) doesn't just bring technical versatility to his work-it fundamentally shapes how he connects with subjects and environments. Whether capturing stories underwater, in remote terrain, or urban landscapes, he adapts naturally building custom rigs when needed and ensuring every camera movement serves the narrative. What sets his work apart is an authentic empathy born from real-world experience. By immersing in diverse communities and environments, he translates human experiences to screen with genuine understanding and visual purpose. Currently, he's developing a documentary exploring Tamil Nadu coastal communities facing maritime change, bringing their resilience into focus through thoughtful visual storytelling. Mentored by acclaimed cinematographers including Swapnil Sonawane ISC, Natasha Braier ASC, and Newton Thomas Sigel ASC, he continues evolving his craft while maintaining the perspective that great storytelling begins with human connection
