- Gurbachan Singh (famous as Gurbachchan Singh) is an Indian actor who is very active in Hindi and Punjabi Cinema since 1970s. He started his career from movie Kucche Dhaage (1973). He is known for his work in movies like Inkaar (1977), Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da (1985), Kranti (1981), Kahani Kismat Ki (1973), Tell Me O Kkhuda (1973) and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013). He has done more than 200 movies mainly as a stuntman and a body double. He came to Bombay in 1970 from Gurdaspur, Punjab.

- His father had old relations with some who worked with Ajit Singh Deol at Gurdaspur's railway station. He sent Gurbachan to Dharmendra's house with a letter. Gurbachan was hesitant as he did not know Dharmendra personally. Dharmendra encouraged Gurbachan to stay at his house and help him get work in films as a stunt double. This was in October 1973.
