Walter Hamada
Walter Hamada is the founder of 18Hz Productions, a horror based film and TV production company with a deal at Paramount Pictures.

Hamada previously served as President, DC-Based Film Production, at Warner Bros. Pictures, where he oversaw the studio’s slate of films based on Super-Heroes and Super-Villains including two of DC’s biggest blockbusters to date: Aquaman, and the multi-Academy Award-winning Joker, which both surpassed $1B at the global box office. Hamada also shepherded the DC titles The Batman, The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam!, and The Flash.

Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Production at New Line Cinema. His decade-long tenure included overseeing the record-breaking horror franchise The Conjuring Universe - including The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation and The Nun, setting the franchise on course to become the highest grossing horror franchise of all-time. He also Executive Produced the adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic horror novel IT, which became a global phenomenon and the highest grossing horror film in history with more than $704 million in global box office receipts. His other credits include Lights Out, The Curse of La Llorona, Friday the 13th, The Final Destination and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010).

Before New Line, Hamada was a partner and owner of the management and production firm H2F Entertainment. Hamada began his career at TriStar/Columbia Pictures. Hamada received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
