Ryan Chapman(XI)

Ryan William Chapman is a London-based writer-director known for gritty, character-driven stories rooted in British working-class life. His debut short, Nature's Mockery, a Lincolnshire-set post-apocalyptic horror starring Meghan Adara, has been described as "analogue horror brought to life". The film marks the first title from Chapman's production company, Firm-It Productions. Previously, Chapman wrote and directed several award-nominated shorts that collectively amassed over 4000 views. A former amateur kick-boxer himself, he is developing his next short - a coming-of-age martial arts drama starring real fighters, "BOOGIE", stylized as "Creed meets Shane Meadows", currently in pre-production, and seeking financing for the future.
