Biography

Luise Lunow was born on March 13, 1932 in Potsdam, Germany. She is an actress, known for Black Panther (2018), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991).

Till 1987 she used the stage name Gerda-Luise Thiele.

Replaced the late Barbara Ratthey as the voice of Roz for 'Monsters University'.

In May 2019, she was awarded the German Prize for Dubbing for her life's work.

She was trained at the Berlin State Ballet School and already performed as a substitute in the ensemble of the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam during that period. Later, from 1976 to 1987, she worked at the Maxim Gorki Theater in East Berlin.
