Yahaira Florentino

Yahaira better known as #Yariflor is a bilingual producer and actress based in Los Angeles. She was born a performer according to her family. She started professional training at seventeen. She has worked as a performer and actress ever since. Yahaira emigrated to the United States at age of twenty-two as part of the Bravo show at the Sahara Casino in Las Vegas Nevada where she became part of the local scene as a notorious tropical performer, radio host and columnist of local magazines Yari has been performing producing or acting for over 20 years all over the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States in numerous productions with renown personalities such as La Charo, Carmen Jara, Gloria Stefan, Salomon, Olga Brisking and many others in Las Vegas Casino's shows and Tv, stage and films productions in different cities around US and Dominican Republic. Taking breaks in between to be a mother, a wife and to go back to the university also to become an author. She is an experienced performer and actress in musicals, cabaret shows, experimental and classical theater disciplines, as in TV and films trained mainly at the Stela Adler acting studios, and Baron Brown studios in Los Angeles. In 2018 Yari founded her film making company #PajonPower (Afro power in English) as she is very proud of her afro Latina roots. Her mission is to tell important stories of under-represented groups. In 2021 she produced and lead her feature film in Mexico #yosoyBernabe. This film won more than a dozen awards around the world giving her 3 best actress nominations and 2 awards.
