Bowen O'Brien, the indie filmmaker from Vernon, BC, honed his craft through mentorships with WE WERE MONKEYS, Patrick Shannon, and Evan Riley Brown. Growing up in a small town with limited resources, he worked to foster a local film community, earning multiple awards through OSIF's festivals.
In 2023, Bowen co-founded Orphanarium Productions, a company recognized for its award-winning projects and collaborations with bands such as Freeze the Fall.
Inspired by directors David Fincher, Wes Anderson, and Gore Verbinski, his style blends striking visuals, dynamic editing, and heartfelt explorations of life's fleeting moments.
