David Reis is a cinematographer born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He got a Bachelor's in Advertising from PUCRS University and UCAM University in Spain, and a Graduate in People's Management to best deal with the crew and cast on set.
He is a specialist in Cinematography by UCLA, Los Angeles - California, where he embraced his passion for cinematic composition.
He directed commercials and branded content for major brands such as Heineken, Coca-Cola, Sol, Gerdau, Votorantim, Marcopolo, Sprite, Cielo, to name a few.
David deepened his directing actors skills at EICTV in Cuba where he studied the Stanislavski method and, had Palm D'or winner Abbas Kiarostami as a mentor who supervised his short film Disfruta, in Spain 2012. He worked as a director and cinematographer in projects that were exhibited on Netflix, MTV, SXSW, Billboard, Globo, Bienal do Mercosul, and other platforms.
