  • Joe Zito began his career in sound as a boom operator working on dozens of feature films. Some of which include: Journey to the Sun (Winner Blue Ribbon Peace Prize Berlin Film Festival), Two Girls and a Guy starring Robert Downey Jr. & Heather Graham, and Tromeo and Juliet (Troma Company) directed by Lloyd Kaufman.

    In 1999 Joe moved into post-production as a Henry and Smoke Artist working on commercials, shorts, music videos and feature films. Some of his post-production credits include commercials for ESPN, McDonalds, Coke, Ford Motor Company, and X-Games. He has worked on music videos for such artists as Ben Folds Five, Ricky Martin, Dixie Chicks, Debbie Gibson and Green Day. Some of his feature film work includes Bamboozled, directed by Spike Lee; Brooklyn Lobster, starring Danny Aiello; Junebug, starring Amy Adams; Twelve Disciples of Nelson Mandela, directed by Thomas Allen Harris and Speak starring Kristen Stewart. In 2008, Joe formed 90th Street Productions where he continues to work as an editor and story producer for such clients as NBC, NFL, FX, SyFy Channel, Nickelodeon, Discovery, MLB Network, Sesame Street, Warner Brothers and Sony Pictures. He recently edited for the docuseries Billion Dollar Goal and Pulisic for CBS Sports and Paramount +.

    He produced and directed the short documentary True Stories by Joe and directed, wrote and produced Surf'em Up, a multiple award winning short. Two of his feature length screenplays have been recognized as semi-finalists in the Flicker's Rhode Island International Film Festival and has placed as semi and quarter-finalists in the Big Apple Film Festival and Screenplay competition.
