Biography

I was raised by a single mom in SoCal during the 90's where it wasn't safe to be queer, let alone transgender. That time, good and bad, shaped me. When times were bad, stories gave me an escape. Whether in the shape of a book or movie, they were windows into how I could approach real world problems with sometimes fantastical solutions. My love of cinema led me to study for an MFA in VFX, and since grad-school, I came out, started working, and paid my dues as a PA on film projects like Freshmen Year, Us and Jexi. Eventually I was given opportunities to work as a film editor, compositor, Script Supervisor and AC/Grip. In between projects like Chosen Fam, Lover Girl, Nightcap, Ride Scare, and Free Byrd I married my husband and we recently moved into our new house together.
